A lecture about where regenerative practice sits relative to everything the profession already calls green. Working from Pamela Mang and Bill Reed, the talk plotted our rating tools along a single axis of net effect on the earth's capacity to host life: Green Star, NABERS, Passivhaus and Living Building Challenge all measured against the same line. It set that beside Kate Raworth's doughnut and the Regen10 framework, which asks organisations to aim at context rather than compliance. Andy Middleton and Denise DeLuca's question ran through the whole hour: if you took the context fully into account, what would you set out to do if you knew you could not fail?
